This article will provide a how-to guide on setting up your new Custom Lead Stages to improve data segmentation and provide greater context for your leads.


Here's how to create your own Lead Stages:

  1. Click Account Settings (1) -> Lead Stages (2) -> Add New Lead Stage (3)


  2. Enter a name and description for your Custom Lead Stage. Afterward, discern whether or not to activate it. Once you've completed and reviewed this process, click "Submit" to finalize your new Lead Stage.



  3. Apply your new Custom Lead Stage to a profile by accessing the prospect conversation page and selecting the new stage via the Lead Stage dropdown.



IMPORTANT NOTE: there are some default Lead Stages that you cannot edit. These are marked with a red asterisk beside them (*).
