How to use Sequences to automatically schedule SMS and/or Call Reminders for compliant follow-ups with prospects who have already responded.

Starting a Sequence

Step 1: Access the Sequences section 

  • The Sequences section is located on the Campaigns page


Step 2: Click "Create" to start a new Sequence

  • The "Create" button is located in the upper right corner of the Sequences section


Step 3: Name your Sequence

  • Create a name for your Sequence and click "Start Building" to continue building the Sequence




Adding Steps to the Sequence and Saving

After you click "Start Building", a default Send SMS step will be provided

Tip: If you would like the first step to be a Call Reminder, first use "Add a step" to create a Call Reminder step and then use the 3 dot menu button to delete the initial Send SMS step.



Step 1: Editing a Send SMS step

  • Choose the number of days to Wait until the step is triggered (5-day minimum wait)
    • For the initial step, this will be the number of days starting from the day the prospect was added to the sequence; otherwise, it will be the number of days starting from when the previous step was completed
  • Write a templated message following our Messaging Best Practices guidelines
    • This is the message that will be sent to the prospect when the step triggers an SMS Reminder to complete
  • Click "Done" when you have completed editing the Send SMS step
    • Clicking "Done" does NOT save the Sequence




Step 2: Adding Additional Steps... 

  • ...to the end of a Sequence
    • To add additional steps to the end of a Sequence, click "Add a Step" at the bottom of the page
    • Choose if the step will be to Send SMS or a Call Reminder


  • ...to the middle of a Sequence
    • To insert additional steps in the middle of a Sequence, use the round "Add" button located between the desired steps on the vertical timeline
    • Choose if the step will be to Send SMS or a Call Reminder


  • If you would like to rearrange the order of the steps, simply drag and drop steps into the desired order.

Step 3: Editing a Call Reminder step

  • Choose the number of days to Wait until the step is triggered (5 day minimum wait) 
  • Click "Done" when you have completed editing the Call Reminder step
    • Clicking "Done" does NOT save the Sequence

Step 4: Save the Sequence

  • Click "Save" in the upper right corner when you are done 






Adding Prospects to a Sequence


*Before a prospect can be added to a Sequence, they need to have responded at least one time


Step 1: Access available Sequences

  • Click "Add to Sequence" above the reply text box on a prospect page



Step 2: Add the prospect

  • Choose the desired Sequence and click "Add"


Step 3: Removing prospects

  • Click the option now labeled "Sequence Activated" above the reply text box on a prospect page
  • Click to "Remove" the prospect



Accessing Reminders and Responses

SMS and Call Reminders are located on the Sequences page.  When a Sequence is triggered for a prospect, a red dot will appear over the Campaign tab icon.  Reminders will be queued up in their respective sections for you to easily work through.


When a prospect responds to one of your Sequence's SMS messages, they will be removed from the Sequence and their response will be available in your account's Inbox.
